Director of Contact Centers
Derek Ingram has been the Director of Contact Centers at Speed Commerce since 2016. In this role, he oversees the call center operations in the United States and the Philippines. Among all the facilities, his has a total capacity of 280 customer service agents in person and many more remote. His team provides outsourced customer service labor for some of today’s biggest ecommerce brands. Ingram’s goal is to provide a premier customer service experience with inbound and outbound contact methods that helps grow clients’ businesses.
Previously, Ingram was the customer service center manager at Medical Transportation Management, managing a 130-member call center. He took this position after working as the contact center manager at Speed Commerce for two-and-a-half years. He also worked as a sales manager at the U.S. Cable (now Spectrum), and as the director of media relations at the Daytona Cubs Professional Baseball team: a Chicago Cubs Minor League affiliate team.
Ingram is a graduate of Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism. In his spare time, he coaches youth sports teams (baseball, basketball, softball, and soccer), collects baseball memorabilia, and mentors area youth as a YMCA volunteer, including earning the Twin Pike YMCA Volunteer of the Year in 2019 and 2022.
